PIO application tracker - Washington DC

Hi guys,
I applied for PIO card today for my daughter in Washington DC -- in person.
It takes 45 business days to process now ....
Anyone else applied during this period, pls share your info --
Just curious, why did you choose PIO over OCI?
there is only a small difference in fees, right?
processing time is not very different

my daughter is eligible only for PIO card -- as we are planning to go India for long time( more than 2 yrs), PIO is the only choice now --
Thanks for the clarificationIf parents are still Indian citizens then children born in the US can only apply for PIO card, not OCI.
