Pictures for N-400

You can go a Potrait studio in a Mall or Walmart etc and ask for a passport size picture. They have all the specs but you can verify.

I got mine at Kinkos. But you can go anywhere Walgreen, Rite-Aid. Most places which have 1 hr photo have passport photo facility.

In my opinion ,most of these one hour places produce very poor photos. I used my digital camera and produced my own, this website makes it even easier to get everything the right size -

This site gives you the specifications for your photo -

One more thing, don't print the pictures on your home printer, take it to some place like costco where they print your pictures and print as a 4x6 you will get 6 2x2 pictures.

We did like Dandan and got excellent pictures printed from a drug store. I used a open source program I found on the net instead of uploading our personal picts to some website.

Go to Walgreens. They are cheap and picture quality is outstanding. You can be in and out in 30 mins max.

Funny. I guess quality depends a lot on the particular store. I got my pictures taken at Walgreens and wasn't very happy. I even went to Ritz to take another couple of pictures until an honest employee talked me out of doing that saying that the pictures I had taken at Walgreens were ok. In my opinion I prefer the pictures they take at a close FedEx Kinko's shop, and it is easier to write with pencil on them that the Walgreens pictures. However, I am sure each store has different cameras and paper and quality can change a bit. I understand that Costco can also do them cheaper.

Dandan,
I don't remember the name, it was just a script I found by a simple internet search and I think you can find it easily.
