Pick up Renetry Permit from US Embassy

Hi,

I had applied for a Reentry permit and had asked for it to be delivered in India.

My home in India has now received a notice asking me to pick it up from the US embassy in Delhi.

However, I am now in the US.

Can I ask a friend to go and pick it up for me ?

You may need to contact the Consulate and ask them if you can send a Letter of Authorization to your friend and whether he can pick it up for you. He will have to take the Original Notice as well.
When did you apply for your Re-entry permit ?

Or you can call up embassy and request to deliver at US address.
