Its been quite a ride and finally saw my 485 approved mails this week.
Even though 485 approved letters came on Sept 16 with the info about fixing appointment at ASC, the approved e-mails came only after I had done the Bometrics Sept 23. I didnt get any instructions to go to stamping and assume the card will be mailed directly to me. Is there any one in the same boat?
Interestingly the previous message was greencard ordered and mailed which was subsequently changed to 485 approval notice sent and I would receive within 15 days. Just a bit scared as my LUD got updated even today and dont know what is happening.

Only after reading various topics in this forum did I take the intiative to write to Senators and congressmen and one of the Senators inquiry did make a difference in clearing my FBI name check. As someone said in the forum, its your case you got to take the initiative, lawyers only follow the process.
