Hi there,

I will be submitting my citizenship application form but wanted to double-check something regarding photographs. I was told by an attorney that applicants are no longer required to send photos with their application forms, but the the USCIS still lists that item as a requirement. Any thoughts?

As per N-400 application instructions, it is required. If they don't need it, they will do nothing but if they need it then they will issue RFE and will delay your case.
I mailed my application last week with the pictures.

Thank you but I already mailed it without the photos and will keep my fingers crossed in hopes that it will be accepted without them.
