photos

going to get 4 xtra photos for my interview next thursday. i thought i read somewhere here that the photos have to have an extra white space at the bottom of the picture?
the ones i sent were so that the white part was cut out completely?
any suggestions?
i usually get my immigration photos at kinko's. is still an ok place to get them or should i go somewhere else?

Kinko's is fine. Regular passport photos, cut to passport specifications are fine. Don't worry about the white space under your picture. Usually the extra photos are not needed at the interview, but you can use them for your passport application, that's what I did.

I want to get the xtra ones just in case the IO says the submitted photos are old (not my fault it's taking so long to process applications). And today I am having a 'good hair day' so wanted to get those done.

You don't need white space. My interviewer used a pencil eraser along the right side of the photos to get the gloss off and then had me sign in pen. Also, I did not need the extra photos I brought along, but given it wasn't a good hair day for me, will be taking new photos for passport (hopefully). Good luck with your interview.
