Photos requiremnts for CP

Hi Guys,
do any of you have the EXACT requirements for immigration (CP)photos? Reason I asked was if suppose I want to get it done from some other place (rather then the ones mentioned like My own Studio in Mumbai ) then I would like to show the photographer that these are the measurements/kinds of photos I require. I am contemplating an early Feb interview in Mumbai and flying to India (Calcutta) mid-month of Jan and was thinking of finishing off my medicals & photos in Cal itself. And I have breifly checked with US Consulate website that I can do medicals in Cal itslef though I have to find more about it.

If anyone can mention (maybe from their own packet4 docs) what exactly the photo requirements says then that will be great!

(Also,if someone can mention what medicals are usually done for a normal healthy person then that will also be helpful).

How many photos do we actually need? I mean how many poses? Like side posture,front face etc..
Any ideas on that?
 
I'm not sure, but I believe you would need 4 immigration style photos for your interview & couple of passport style (front posture) photos for your medicals. Additionally you may want to carry a couple of immigration style photos with you at the POE, just in case they ask for them. Please check with others on this too.

Photo requirements:
1. I concur with titu who has done a great job providing the detailed requirement page.

2. If the photographer does not know about usa immigration photo requirements then you are better off not taking immig photos from that photo studio.

Medicals:
1. Here is the web site with a list of doctors whom you could go to in calcutta for your immigrant visa checkup.

Just want to endorse one point raised by kd1403.

If the photographer is not experienced in taking immigration
style photos, don't try to educate him by showing the requirements. Just walk out, and try and find one who is
experienced.
