Hello Gurus,

Can I send the photos with the EAD and AP application in a small polythene bag, or do I need to stick them in a paper? Please advice.

Also do I need to get all the copies of the documents(Birth Certificiate, Copies of I-485, I-140 and etc) notarized?

Thanks in advance
Booshan

YOU CAN SEND THEM IN A PAPER ENVELOPE. WRITE A# BEHIND THE PICTURES.

NO. IF YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS IN FOREIGN SCRIPT THEN YOU MAY WANT TO NOTARIZE THE TRANSLATION OF THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE.

Dear HHK,

Yes, my birth certificate is in foreign language and the translation was done and attested by indian lawyer. I am sending copies of all these documents. Do I need to get the translation notarized?

Thanks in advance
Booshan

To be on the safer side, you should get the birth certificate translated by another person who knows that language and the get it notarized from a notary. It should have the signature of the individual translating it and this signature should be made in front of the notary.

I am not sure if indian attestations are acceptable. I would think they are, but the earlier approach I mentioned is the one that I took for my spouse's case.
