Photos for Canadian PR application

Hi there,

I am applying for Canadian PR from the U.S. On the Canadian PR application instruction, it clearly states that the immigration photos are NOT the same as passport photos. But I don't see any differences between their requirements and the passport photos I have in hand. As I know in the U.S, there are only two types of photos -- US immigration photos and US passport photos.

Can I use passport photos as immigration photos for Canadian PR.
 
take the instructions page to the photographer with you. go to the private photo centres(not any franchises like cvs,sears etc).
he will photograph you and then cut according to the specifications.

atleast thats what i did and i did not get my application back.
