Photos for AOS Interview

Everything should be set for the AOS Interview on Friday 3/31/06

I have gathered alot of documents, and I have a couple of questions:

1. Should I make copies of ALL documents? Does the INS keep the orginals if I don't make copies?

2. I have about 80 photos, should I make copies of the photos too? I don't mind if they keep the originals since I just had them printed from a digital format.

1. That depends on the officer and since you don't know which officer will be, then I will suggest you as everybody did over here to make copies of your documents.
2. You don't need to make copies of your photos, especially if are from a digital format. Sometimes they even did not ask for them! but if they ask probably they want to keep one or two.

2. You don't need to make copies of pictures, my offiicer didn't even take a look at any of ours. However I heard a friend of mine who went to AOS interview - their officer asked them to pick a few pictures and go to Kinko's to make a color copy in A4 size.

I am currently making all the copies, but not of the photos. They can keep whatevery they want.
My DO is Seattle.

I have "prepared" for this so much with all the documentation that I'm almost looking forward to it, as opposed to being nervous. Just nice to have it done with....it reminds me of college, before an important exam when you get to the point to rather just finish regardless of how you do...

I spent several hours updating our G-325a, just because we moved....4 copies for each person...lots of handwriting!
 
Had my AOS Interview

The interview went well. No surprises with a nice officer.
We were asked about the spouse's siblings,our honeymoon, when and how we met, how long we'd been dating before marriage.
Quite easy I would say.

Unfortunately, I had forgotten to bring my Bcertificate in my native language, I thougth they only wanted the English version, so I will have to submit that, but would then be approved I was promised. I already faxed it today and mailed it, and they said it would be looked at next week and I should expect to receive my card in the mail within 3 weeks.

Surprisingly, they did not take my AP or I-94, which is good because I might be travelling within the next 3 weeks.
