Hello,

Sorry if this sounds like a trivial question , The document list sheet says
original and photocopy of documents.

It looks like I might have to photocopy my passports etc, and take it for interview
If given a chance I want to save paper,

could I just carry the originals to the interview? and skip the photocopies?

Does the IO ask for photopies as well?

What will hurt to carry a photocopy of the passport??? 20 cents?

Saving paper

Hello,

I see that 5 year tax transcripts etc are also recommended for docs(By people on this thread)
So if I put the list i will end up with more than a couple of hundred sheets

I just make it a point to avoid photocopy/print as much as possible
eventhough its free
(Go green :)

Well you should take all you feel comfortable in taking. If your case is marriage based, you may need more docs.

The price of being green might be coming back to get some documents (in case IO asks for them) and/or a delay of 1 month? Do note that the probability of being asked for documents you do not have might be low ... but even low probability hits some people. Take a call on what you are likely to be questioned on depending on your YES/NO answers.
