I have an appt in Delhi Consulate on 22nd Nov, and 24/25 are US Consulate, TTS service holidays respectively. My wife has her appt on Nov 1, and my passport might not be back by the time of her interivew. Her interview was arranged through VFS, and they ask for a copy of my visa when she goes to apply. There is a good chance that I might not have my passport back in time to make a photocopy to give to her for her interview.

Is this photocopy really required, because it was not asked for by TTS. Shouldn't the I-797/I-129 be enough? Another point in my case, what if both the wife/husband interview is on the same date? Anyways, let me know what you guys think??

Thanks

I think she needs either a photocopy of your valid visa stamp or photocopy of all the pages of your passport.

My friend who has a future appointment for his wife, does not have a valid visa stamping on his passport. He sent a email to chennai consulate and they asked for the photocopy of all the pages of his passport.

The vfs website lists I-797/I-129 and visa stamp of the principal applicant for H4 if applying separately.
