Hi All
I'm new here. First of all: What a great site! The information provided here by the various members have been invaluable for the past few weeks while I was deciding whether or not to enter this year's DV program. I finally completed my application yesterday afternoon and am now patiently waiting for the 5th of May 2015!
As always, I'm paranoid about the information I've supplied, particularly the pictures. We took our pictures ourselves and, after looking through some threads here about pictures and using the online tools provided by the DV site, both the pictures of my wife and myself seem to be 100% correct in terms of composition. However we have a 3 month old son and I followed the instructions on the DV website for our son's picture as best I could, though as I took the picture I think the flash have him a fright and now he has a "facial expression". Also the background I used did not come out as plain as it looks in "real life". (I used a white towelling nappy)
While I understand that the requirements for the program have a purpose, are they enforced as strictly for babies as they are for adults? Do you think I have anything to worry about in the case of the picture of my son? (Here's a link to the picture: http://www.billgeek.com/James.JPG)
