Photo Problem

Hi everybody, i just want to ask if it's ok to compress the photo to make it easier to upload like from 221 kb to 56 kb and what about using the photoshop only to change the picture's background and after i made all that i didn't find the date of the picture in the file properties and what is the aspect ratio of the picture? is this mean that we can't resize the photo to 600×600, i want to know if there is something wrong or not and what to do?, thanks.

Hi sugar pie,

I gave some replies in this topic concerning a photo background other than the required light color. I used Photoshop too to brighten and lighten up the background. Officially it's not allowed, but when you leave all your facial features intact I don't see a problem. Just make sure that if you use PS, use it well ;)
 
Oh, and concerning the size. I don't know your internet connection, but I'd leave it at a size as close to 240 kb as possible. Lowering it will only affect the quality negatively.
