Hi Guys,
Here is my Philadelphia Stamping experience. I hope this certainly help others who wants their stamping at Philly.
Infact i have done my stamping today. we (Me and Spouse) have taken appointments thru INFOPASS for 9:30 am individually yesterday thru online at
http://infopass.uscis.gov/. Printed our appointment copies from internet.
Some one from INS called me in the morning to my home and verified about the appointmnt and asked what reason did i take the appointment. I explained about the GC stamping. She said find and see you there.
So We started from home around 8:20am and we reached the parking lot near broad street and Collowhill street around 8:55am. We walked down to 1600 Callowhill street and entered in to the INS Building thru the security.
At Security they asked for valid ID cards. So we showed them our Driving Licence IDs. They asked if we carry any mobile phones. They took our mobile phone because Mobile got inbuilt Camera, and asked us to collect while leaving.
After we went to the counter to collect the token(ticket). There i showed them that we have taken appointments for 9:30am. The Lady at the counter looks like never seen those appointmnets printouts. She asked me why i did take appointmnet. I said, it is there in USCIS website to take appointmnet before attending.
So, she went inside and showed to them about the appointments. Looks like even they have not seen before. They discussed about this for few minutes and checked thru their website and called me immediately to the counter and asked our EAD cards, AP's, Passports and Photos. They got our Righthand index finger impression and signature and stamped in the passport with I-551.
and cancled(Cancle stamp) all the valid VISA stampings and gave our passports back. She said we may get our GC cards in a year.
All these procedure done by 9:30am. We back home by 10:00am.
Wish you all Good Luck.
Regards,
