Please help!

I am getting very worried after reading this forum regarding the oath wait time. My interview was done on 08-16 and at the end the interviewing officer told me I would be recommended for approval.

Today is 09-30 and I haven't heard anything from them. Can anybody being interviewed at Philadelphia in the same time frame let me know their experience ?

Thanks.

Can you post your dates? i.,e. receipt date, fingerprinting, ......
Did the officer gave you form N-652? what does it saying?
I know some friends who had oath taking on 09/01, they did there interview back on July.

Hi yas804,

Thanks for replying to my message. Here are my dates:

pd: 02/28/05
fp: 05/22/05

The officer did give me form N-652 with "recommend for approval" checked.

One thing happenend during the interview that contributed to my uneasiness: I travelled overseas at beginning of this year and re-entered the country on 02-21. I sent in my N-400 shortly after my return.

Now the very "intelligent" - bear with my bitterness - immigration officer at Los Angeles Intl Airport somehow stamped 02-28 on my passport. It never came to my attention until my interview. The officer looked at the date and asked me how I managed to send in my N-400 before I even entered the country ?

I explained and explained. I showed him the departure date stamped on my passport before I boarded the plane to the U.S. I said I could give him my employer's number such that he could call and confirm I was back to work etc. etc.

He wouldn't hear of it. He said it was unlikely that the immigration officer at LAS got it wrong by 7 days - of course we all know INS never ever make mistakes and mess up people's lives.

However he said he would do some checking on his end. And at the end of the interview told me my case was recommended for approval and checked N-652 accordingly.

I hope that "checking on his end" is not causing any delays in my case. Any suggestions ?
