I am F1-> H1b ->married to US citizen -> filed (I 485 + 130) in Detroit Michigan in Dec2002.
I got my EAd from the MI office.
I got a very good offer in Pa in Oct2003( by that time I had got nothing except for the reciept notice from the Detroit Office) and took it. I got my files trasferred from Mi to Philadelphia Office in Nov 2003. Worked my a$$ off to get my EAd renewed. Initially they weren't even able to find my file.
The current status is : I haven't received anything from the philadelphia office...not even an acknowledgment of the file transfer.No letter regarding FP...nothing at all...
Has anyone else had similar experience(specially with Family based immigration..thought they were suppose to be hassle free)...
