I'm Teddy from the Philippines, I posted on this boards recently but i failed to get a definitive answer.
My Wife was Petitioned as F1 (Unmarried Daughter of a US Citizen under 21) but we got married last 2002 and her prority date is April 1996. F1 is nowprocessing 1991.
My question is:
1. Can her F1 category be converted to F3 (married) or will she definitely lost the chance bec. she got married?
2. If it is possible to change F1 to F3, who would file for it? An immigration lawyer or the petitioner?
3. Does she need to inform the Immigration now and pass all our documents or wait until the priority date arrives?
