Petition is still pending, a request has been forward to supervisor

After I initiated a case inquiry by calling USCIS 800 number on Jan. 7, 2005, today I received a letter from USCIS saying "Petition is still pending, a request has been forward to supervisor." What does this mean? Does anyone has similar experience? Thanks in advance.

Afer initiating case status inquiry thru my lawyer, I got a letter from USCIS saying that my case has been forwarded to supervisor. Guess what, I got an FP notice in mail today. Its scheduled for March 1st. Iam planning to go for early FP. Anybody has early FP experience in Dallas? Can the derivitive applicant also do FP on my FP notice?

Hang in there folks. The supervisorseems to respond.
