Petition for I-140 required

Mr. Rajeev S. Khanna,

There should also be a petition for I-140 processing also.
Right now we are seeing that I-140 processing is taking anywhere from 8-14 months on various service centers.
So if there are any concurrent filing for I-140 and I-1485, that person has to wait for 8-14 months before he/she can change the employer. If I-140 gets cleared within 6 months, then person is free to switch jobs after 6 months.

Wouldn't the 140 forum be the right place for this? Plus it is not like Rajiv Khanna reads all the threads on this forum, unless you plan to start another grass roots movement like Symphony or Ocean to make the change.

I have come to the conclusion that there is no point in just talking about the petition, you have to actually involve yourself in the process to do something about it! Don't expect others to do the job for you.
