I was opportuned to speak directly with a TSC Asylum Duty Officer and he indicated that my I-485 is a material support case and those can be pending for a long time until a decision is received from Headquaters in D.C.
My question is- will the mandamus suit pending in the U.S District Court make the service provide a decision. The pre-trial for my Mandamus case is coming up in November. If a judgement is passed by the judge asking CIS to complete adjudication, will that make the service to render a decision on my case. It is funny how my case became Material Support after my attorney filed a Mandamus last year November. I think it is all bureaucracy going on here.
Can someone throw some light into this situation. Thanks..
