Personal Appearance Notification
My husband received a notice in the mail for a Personal Appearance Notification to finalize the processing of his EAD at the Memphis office. Which is fine. However, don't they normally send EADs in the mail? We have been waiting anxiously since May 2003!
 
any particular reason why you had to go to the office to collect it?

or do they randomly ask people to shoow thier faces ...???

I don't know what causes the difference in processing.
