Permanent Resident Green Card holder to work overseas as contract worker::::

I am a green permanent resident card holder.

I have a job offer to work in Saudi Arabia for 2 years and every 4 months I will be on vacation for a week.

Question: Do I need to apply for I-131 with the biometric? Are they will deneid my entry to the US every 4 months of out of the country?

Need your help.

I already asked my lawyer but still no reply, that's why I am asking your help if you had the same situation.
