Hi,

Anybody here in the subj. category? Could you share your experiences? How long does the process take currently? If the Spouse is in the US on H1, but H1 is expiring, can something be done?

This topic has been discussed milions of time here. Try to do search. It takes 5-7 years to get the GC. Till that time the person has to maintain his/her own status. The person'e being in US won't make any difference.
