Hi,

I'm a New Zealand citizen living as a permanent resident in South Africa. I'm looking to see if I can get citizenship for the US or at least a green card??? My Grandfather (deceased) was a US citizen & Marine..My father was born in NZ. My Father & Uncle were both called up to fight in Vietnam as US Marines, which they served 2-3 years. my Uncle died there. However they did not spend much time in the States...would I qualify at all??...I'm 35 & my Partner & I have two children 10 & 05....any help much appreciated.

Kind Regards

Gav

There was several ways to obtain new Green card. Not all ways are easy to obtain green card, there are certain requirement.

Winning a lottery program.
Family-Based Green Card.
Employment-Based Green Card.
Refugee Status or Asylum may apply for a Green Card.

Family based Green card is another way to obtain Green card(only immediate relatives) can be in the petition or sponsorship. The US Citizen can petition for Spouse, Mother or Father, Brother or Sister, Son or Daughter.
