PERM...will it EVER happen?

Hi,
I was wondering if any of you have heard anything new about the INS( Homeland Security) implementing PERM in the near future.

I had heard that they are thinking of implementing it in July this year.

Has anyone heard anything like this?

Specialy for people in the NY/NJ area, this would be a great help, with the never-ending 245i cases?

Anybody hear anything, please throw in your inputs..

I have seen news on PERM that its going to be in by July 03. According to latest, guidelines are going to be published in April and will be ready to go by July.

NEVER count on it though. It has been in news for more than two years now and always seems like this time its really going to come to rescue us... nevertheless it never happened.

Hopefully this time its true. Never hold your breath on immigration issues, atleast while GOP is in power.

It should be clear in April when they announce the actual procedure (the law is already documented)
