Perm: When there are a few qualified candidates?

Dear Rajiv,

The attorney told me that there are a few candidates whose profile that matching with the job desc. that they've posted. What should be done at this stage of PERM? My second H-1B expires on October 2010, How can I proceed with the PERM application?

It only takes 1 qualified candidate to terminate PERM processing.

You cannot proceed as the job would have to be offered to USCs and LPRs before you.

There is a lawyer involved in processing your GC. Why are you trying to second guess him? It is not your call.
