my employer first agreed to sponser me for green card , i paid for everything, then the case got buried under BEC and i asked if they could sponser me for PERM and they said yes, i paid the lawyer , extra money and then when the turn came for them to register online the HR director says she has no time , is very busy and only if she can talk with someone from another community health center who is sponsering a physician for perm will she sponser me ( its outragious and that after they agreed and i have paid money to lawyer

IS THERE ANYONE GETTING PERM SPONSERSHIP VIA COMMUNITYY HEALTH CENTER ,PLEASE LET ME KNOW
THANKS

Sorry to hear that...

Yes, it is outrageous. I'm not sure why she wants to talk to other Community Center Health facility. She can talk to your lawyer and get some confidence in the system. I think she's just giving you excuses. You can suggest that you and your lawyer would do all the work and it is not much work. Just prepare a short list if tasks what she have to do.

How much time you have left at your waiver job? Other possibility is, to find another employer who is willing to file for your waiver. And go through him and then leave as soon as after 3 years are up and Perm is approved.

Good luck,

Just yesterday I ran accross something about this:

There is more stuff regarding PERM here:

Maybe somebody from your attorneys office can do the registration and just have the HR director sign off on it once everything is plugged in correctly.(there was some concern that DOL would map the IP for the computer used back to the employers vs the attorneys office. I don't think this has turned out to be true.)

How did you pay the attorney ? This money should be in an escrow account, if they don't do their job demand your money back from the escrow holder.
