AD 3/31/03
Passport stamped 4/17/03
Plastic cards received 5/20/03

Congratulations with your Permanant Resident Cards. Enjoy your new life and freedom.

What is the duration of the cards? Do you still need to maintain your passport? What happens if your passport expires before you get your citizenship?

card is valid for 10 years, your status though is PERMANENT , i.e can be extended indefinitely unless you violate certain conditions ( stay more than a year outside without permission, commit a felony etc).
You do need to maintain a passport , it does not matter if it expires, it can be renewwed it does not alter your permanent resident status.

Does your online message changed to cards ordered anytime.

I also stamped my passport on 4/16/03, still message not changed.

ND : 12/17
AD : 03/07

Did you changed your social security card, I went to ss office. but they send same card same thing written valid for work on ins authorization only. i think that thing should be removed.
