PERM recruiting question

In PERM recruiting, when the employer advertise in the paper, I assume that employer gives his own contact to receive resumes. Please somebody verify.

If so, is there a tracking mechanism as to how many resumes were received, because employer can always fudge resume numbers if audited.
Please advise.

Yes. The employed has to give his own contact for receiving resumes. If you get audited, DOL could ask for the infirmation regarding how many resumes were received. If the employer fudges, and DOL is not satisfied, they can ask to refile and even sit in interviews to make sure due deligince was carried out. But then again, if the employer wants to fudge, they can.
