Please help me out as couldnt get a job since came to US from India, now got a chance to work for IT with my current employer and so far, I didnt have any Paystubs. And my 6 year term getting over in March '07.
I got an H1 extension in Oct. '05 and got ext. upto March '07, So I would like to know what are the chances of my applying for PERM and getting an extension to stay here in US until i get my GC.
I recently got an opp. to work in IT and doing Ok after 4-1/2 Years, but my main concern is that i dont want to go back such that I cant come back, and also i want to get my GC ASAP.
I want to know, what are the chances of my getting a GC such that I dont have to go back because of my H1 6 year term is getting expired. My Employer is ready to file for LC and so I just want to know how soon i should file it and how much time it will take for documentation and filing and what are the chances of my getting an H1 extension after my 6 years, so that I can try to push my employer to file my GC ASAP.
I think I have explained my case properly, if anything confusing, please ask me and will clear it ASAP.
Please reply me if anybody having same case.
