PERM process with a small business

I have a small business about 2 people and am planning to apply for a green card process starting with PERM for labor certification. Is there a minimum number of employees or a revenue / profit a company needs to make before filling for PERM? Is there a time limit as to how long the company should be in business before they can start the PERM process? Can somebody share any experiences they have with a similar situation?
