Perm : Labour Filing

Hi

My H1B 6th year is ending on 1st April 2007(including time recaptured).
My Company filed for my Labour thru' Internet today being 31st March 2006 from New York.

Q1. Has anyone else been so close with the dates as for the 7th year extension they need at least 365 days old pending Labour.

Am I am still within the valid time-period for my extensions ?
Anyone has any past experiences being so close to the dates ?

Q2. After filing thru Internet, do we have to wait for a reply from DOL for successful submission ?

Q2. Is there anyway to check on the progress for the pending NY labour filed.

I cannot answer Q1 since I have not been in such a situation.
As far as the rest of the questions are concerned, as soon as it was submitted online, your HR contact should have received an email in their inbox. They need to respond with a "Yes" to all the 4 questions and after they send the reply, in afew minutes they will get an acknowledgement from DOL and your case will move to "In Process". After that you can have your HR person check the case status daily online
