Hi All,

My PERM labor got approved on last week of september and my lawyer sent me the scanned copy of last page of my perm application and asked me to take a print and signed and send it to him for filing I140 & 485. I made it before the retrogress date of Sep 30th. Now Iam being noticing people comments in this forum that one needs hardcopy of the labor with employee & employer's signatures before filing... Is it true? Iam also not sure if the lawyer has sent me the approved copy. The labor scanned copy the lawyer has sent has a "ETA Form 9089" & "ETA Case Number: A-XXXXX-XXXXX", at the bottom of the page. Is this the certified copy....Is anyone in the same situation... Please share your comments...

Thanks!

you dont need to have hard copy of approved labor to apply for i-140 & i-485, but you need some sort of proof that your application got approved by DOL, before Sept 30.

Thanks mallasani, so basically we don't need to send the origional hard copy of the labor. Do we atleast send this in the due course of time... Or just wait till we hear from the immigration dept if they want me to send... Any idea's..Please Share.
