I have a question that no one seems to know the answer to.
My LC was filed under PERM on Jan 3rd 2006. Now my I-140 is due. Since the priority date is Jan 3rd and annual tax returns cannot be filed till dec 2006, What papers does my employer need to send as proof of ability to pay? Will they ask for last years tax returns. If yes what is a resonable profit to show for last year in order for the I-140 to get approved considering that my prevailaing wage is $16.48. The information on the net is conflicting. Some think that last years tax returns have nothing to do with the case since the priority date is from this year.
