Hi,
Firstly, I needed some help in finding out the total time for GC under perm filing. How long would it take to get labor approved. Then for second stage, I140 and 485, how long would that take. Is concurrent filing still allowed.
I have a masters with 5+ years of exeperience. Dont know what category the case will fit into.
The reason I ask all these questions is this ... current job not stable where my labor was filed under less than 2 years ago. Company not eligible to file under PERM due to continuous layoffs.
I'm planning on working with a consulting firm and then have them apply through PERM. A six months contract is what I've been offered initially.
I'm just trying to figure out a few possibilities. If I do move with the consulting firm and they file under PERM, would the perm be approved in 6 months? Again, how long would the second stage take?
I still have 1.5 years remaining on my second H1.
