I had a question and would be grateful if you could find sometime to reply to it.
I have a RIR EB3 application with PD Feb2004 in Philly BPC. I am (like everybody else is) not sure how long will it take to get an approval from there.
In the meantime, I want to start a new PERM application with another employer as a backup. I know right now priority date matters but I am not sure how long my current job is going to last. My H1B 6 year limit expires in Nov 2006. This means I need to start another Labor petition before Nov 2005.
Now I am stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I would appreciate if someone could advise if its a good idea to have a second petition in PERM with a different employer. I have to join the second employer once PERM approval comes through in which case I will lose the PD for the previous application. I cannot leave my current job right now.
Please advice.
