Perm Denied and Pririty Dates

Perm Denied and Priority Dates

Hi

I have received a PERM denial and I am going to appeal again within 30 days as said in the denial letter.
Will the Priority dates remain the same as in the origional application or will it be the date on which I appeal.
I am getting mixed answers on this and it is very important as I am already in 6th year of my H1.
