PERM:Current Wage Vs. Prevailing Wage

Few questions revolving around this topic:

Does it potentially weaken the case if current wage is less than the prevailing wage?

How much difference is acceptable between CW and PW .. 5% , 10% , 15% or 20%?

Also heard that CW should be equal to PW at the time of filing the 485 approval?

Would appreciate any feedback.

my understanding is that if you are already working for the employer they need to pay you the PW NOW. And according to PERM this is now 100% not 95% like before.

If you don't yet work for thr GC sponsoring employer they just need to prove tey will be able to pay you once you get approved and they hire you.

PW vs CW

Your wage offer has to be at least 100% of the PW. If not, you will automatically be denied. The PW is for the future job, so if the LC is approved, the employer has to pay you that much. On the PERM application, it asks what the PW is and what the wage the employer has agreed to pay for that position, and the wage offer in that PERM section has to be at least 100% of the PW in that section.

The employer keeps arguing that since PW is for the future job. You 'DO NOT' have to be paid the PW right now or at the time of filing the application.
Can someone please post a link possibly on the INS website of somewhere else that clearly states that the Current Wage should be same is the Prevailing wage. I really need to know this ASAP.
Thanks
