Hello,

As per earlier GC processing, based on future employment a person need not work for the GC sponsoring employer until the GC is approved. Is this still the same:

a) for filing thru PERM?
b) for EB2 and EB3 applicants

How long will it take for a person to obtain EAD, if his GC is filed under PERM, as filing I-485 will be delayed due to retrogression?

a. Yes.
b. You can get EAD only when you file I-485. If you are effected by regression then you can not get EAD after labor approval.
