PERM case approved

My first perm case was denied in jan 2006. Lawyers filed again right away since all the recruitment efforts were still good. We got a new case number.

Now in March, we have received an approval notice that carries the old case number which was denied back in Jan.

Could anybody suggest what we can do at this point. Shall we go ahead and file for I-140? or should we contact INS and tell them what happened.

Please help.

Congrats!! Go ahead and file I-140. No need to tell INS about the original labor denial.

BTW, What was the reason for denial? How did your lawyer fix it? Please share more details. Thanks!!

The reason for denial was that a wrong date was mentioned. We corrected the date and refiled and it got approved.

Which specific date was wrong? Was it Sunday ad date or PWD expiration date?
