PERM approved, I-140 not submitted yet, can we move?

Hi Rajiv,

My husband just rec'd PERM approval. His company is in state A. I just got accepted into a university in state B. We're thinking about moving to state B in June and buying a house.

His company has no problem w/ the move as long as he can continue travel 80% of the time and work from home office for the rest of the time.

The question is what impact does the move have on our immigration case?

1. Is this considered job location change?
2. Do we need to amend H-1B, PERM because of this move?
3. Anything else?
4. Is there enough time for us to file the amendment before the move in June?

I personally think you need lawyer advice.. there are lot of factors... I am not sure if Rajiv answers in this forum for your question
