PERM and what do I have to do ?????

Hi Everyone,

State is NJ. Filed in Oct 2002 and the date they are processing is May 2002. My questions is

1) Is it advisable to upgrade to PERM.
2) If so, what are the steps that I have to take to upgrade to PERM. Do I have to start now ???.
3) I heard that the backlog centres are now processing the labor cases ??. Do we have to acknowledge any receipt from the backlog centre......
4) Has anyone heard any approvals from the backlog centres.... Is it moving ???.
