Does not matter. You have to make sure that your lawyer or attorney could present these evidences, if asked for. So, make sure that either of them do not lose them.

As a general practice, the lawyers safekeep them since they are less likely to throw away stuff. If you trust your employer not to throw anything away, then there is no problem in him/her keeping the papers.

From our experience, it doesn't really matter. As long as the lawyer has extremely CLEAR copies of the ads, it should be fine. The Dept. of Labor / USCIS RARELY asks for original documents. In my case, I'm a control freak, so I want the originals, but clear copies are sufficient.
