PERM Account Registration still pending after 2 wks

My organization registered a PERM account almost two weeks ago, and still waiting for the password. PLC Help said the registration is pending because Atlanta PERM processing center is still verifying the employer information. Is that normal? When we registered, we were told password would be sent within five days.
