when they say your case is 'pending' is it ACTUALLY pending, or is it basically sitting on a shelf gathering dust? i know there are ways to check and yesterday i did call customer service line, but the automated message sd please allow 180 days before inquiring on status of case, or something to that effect. does anyone know what that means and why they are asking me to wait 180 days? also, how do you know, exactly, if you are in namecheck? i am very new to this, being a beneficiary, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you!
