We are all aware of Priority Date Retrogression effective Jan 01, 2005 for EB3 applicants from India,China and Phillipines. I thought of starting this thread for tracking the progress of such EB3 applicants in VSC. Please post your comments in this thread only if you are EB3 applicant from VSC and are affected by Priority Date Retrogression.. If you don't know what

Do you think you will be impacted? I do not think for you are fine with your PD < Jan 2002, although sustituted.

My Pd is on Aug 30 2001 .. Even mine also Substitute case .. I 140 is aproved on 10/13/2004..

Not sure whats going to happen about this Retrogation crap..

Hi Friends,

I am a novice in the area of immigration and wanted to know how does this 'Retrogression' affects me?

Mine is Labor substituion case. PD - Feb 2003.

140/ 485 concurrently filed - Feb 2004
140 approved. FP done, EAD/ AP recd.
** the dates for me and my wife's 485 changed on 12/22/2004. The msg remained the same.

Pls. let me know whats going to be the status of my case and how will it be handled. I am really worried. Thanks!

Nobody can inform you on how ur case will ne handeled...u like me and others are affected by this Retrogression crap. Only +ve point is the state department issues visa bulletins 15th of every month so we can hope for some good news for the bulletin to be issues on Feb 15.

My company filed my labor in Sept 2002 from Connecticut (EB3 Cat).
I filed my I140/I485/EAD/AP on 26th May,2004.
EAD/AP/140 approved.

Question":
Will I be affected by this Retrogression process?

I'm in the same boat.
My wife got RFE on Dec 17th and received by INS on DEC 29th LUD updated DEC 29th, 30th and Jan 3rd 2005 and Jan 4th 2005. I'm not sure what is going on.
Will it get approved?

Assuming ur case is EB-3, Pretty Interesting !! Well I am on the same boat..!! Though its interesting to see that you are having LUD updates even in the last couple of days including today ..hmm
 
yes..count me in...

I was hoping for a miracle in last few days. Nothing happened. Since my PD is July 21, 2002, I will be looking at this thread frequently.

12/13/04 (Fp Recived on 12/10 and process resumed)
12/14/04 ( No Change in mesg)
12/30 Called the VSC
12/30,12/31 no msg chage may be because of my call.
