Pending review for fingerprint results (?)

Hi,

I did my fingerprint at the end of May and today the AVM
says that it was received last Friday (June 7) and is
pending review.

What does it mean ?

I am in the same boat

I got FP done on 5/21/02

It still says "Pending Review"

I dont know what it means either.
I posted a question on this board 2 weeks ago and no one replied yet.

Here is how it works. Once you take your FP, it goes to FBI and they sent the results back to INS. Pending review means somebody in INS still has to look at the results. When you get the message "processing has resumed", then you know that your FP have cleared.

Sometimes INS doesn\'t change the message from pending review -> processing has resumed even when FP are cleared.
 
YOu can call FBI also

You can find out whether FBI has sent the results back to INS by calling 304-625-5590 or 304-625-2406. FBI wont tell you results. But you can know whether INS sent the FP to FBI and FBI sent it back to INS after verification.
As bepos told once INS is satisfied with FP results your AVM will change to processing resumed.
