I decided to call INS today to find out why they did not schedule our 2nd FP yet.The lady who I spoke to said that they usually schedule a 2nd FP when it is almost time for interview. She also said that as our case was transferred to NY they are not looking at our RD but the TD.New York is now processing cases with RD of May/2002 ours is Feb/2002,but transfer Date is 01/2003...
...I think that means at least one more year for them to schedule us and that will be time to apply for our 4th EAD!This is not fair!
They should look RD not TD...I am so desapointed!Anybody in the same boat???Please share your comments.

How long should I wait to receive a decision ?
If your case was filed on or before the date shown on the chart next to the type of application or petition you filed,
please allow 30 days from the receipt date shown on your receipt notice to receive a written decision.
Iam sorry,I am a little confuising. My case was filed before that date shown on the chart(may,2002) but it was transferred after that date...what that means?

As of 1/16/2004, New York City district office is processing I-485 cases with receipt notice date of 5/9/2002.
As your RD is 2/15/2002, the district office should schedule your interview immediately.

Many people seem to believe it, but it is significantly unfair to EB I-485 transferred cases.
USCIS should consider RD rather than TD,
and USCIS processing time report clearly says so.
Also, I saw someone posted that he had confirmed with Senator or Congressman.
You may want to contact your Senator or your Congressperson.

But I don't know the detail about transfer.
Somebody may provide you good advice.

You may get more useful information especially for New York specific items at the VSC forum.
We should never forgive such an injustice.
