Guys,
My employer just laid me off, one week after they had filed for my I-485/EAD/AP. The employer also promised me to hold on to my I-140 as long as needed so that I can transfer my I-485 to another sponsor. The employer's lawyer advised me to get a Leave Of Absence Without Pay (LOAWP) so that I wouldn't be out of stauts, which I did. Currently, I have not received anything from USCIS yet.
Now I need a lawyer to advise me on how to plan my course of actions. Do you guys know of any good lawyer with expertise in employment-based immigration, preferably located in southern California?
